• My first steps
I was born on August 17th 1959, under the very symbolic sign of the Lion, in Lyon, city of lights, capital of silk and of soft and light materials.
Very early, my creative spirit started to develop, and it's with my grandmother at the age of 12, that I made my first creations.
When I went to school, I changed out of my clothes under the staircase to put on my own creations. Then I started cutting, sowing, tearing every material I could find at home to satisfy my hunger for creating.
I really started creating when I made a beautiful gown with polka dots and stripes for my older sister.

My schooling years
When I turned 19, I got into the Haute Couture Styling and Modeling school of Lyon.
I learned the basics of the job, and I also learned to love it even more. I could finally let my creative spirit free.
After 4 years of intense studying, I got my stylist-modelist diploma I had been waiting for for so long.

Emma Ghest boutique
A dream come true
At the age of 25, I opened my first boutique in Paris, under the name of « Creations Néere », then a second in Saint-Germain-des-Prés, then a third.

Back home
Too far from my hometown, I decided to go back to Lyon.
After imposing my style in different firms, I decided to work free-lance and I participated in many showrooms in the Rhône-Alpes region.

More adventure
Nowadays, trips and new communication technologies allow more influence all over the world.
Creation of Emma Ghest: I decide to create a new brand called « Emma Ghest », destined to free women. The style is dynamic, the silhouette is precise and light, the wardrobe goes from the early hours of day to the late hours of night, depending on the circumstances.
My sincerity and my love for pure and flowing lines pushes me towards active women, the ones who still like to seduce and take care of their body, slim or stout, that respect and love themselves. I try to stay sincere, to be myself, to keep in mind my faiths and convictions, and to always go further.
I want to thank Martine Pitel from « Femme Actuelle » who gave me my first chance and allowed me to present my creations when I was in Paris.
I also thank Minouche Feneck, a press agent, who was nice enough to give me all her trust.
